Restaurant Alimentum

Oooh it’s been a while!  Nearly a year to be precise since I was last blogging with the best of them.  So much as happened over the last 12 months I don’t even know where to start.  On a personal level I’ve aged 10 years,  blood pressure has increased, and my waistline has expanded to Sumo proportions.  I quickly learned it’s a tough business, and it’s challenged me both personally and professionally like I’ve never experienced before.
On the upside, it’s been a lot of fun, and the whole experience has been hugely rewarding.  I’ve got a fantastic team on board who are immensely talented and work their nuts off, and this has been recognised by being awarded 3 AA Rosettes in our first 12 months which we’re all chuffed to bits about!
I’ve decided to resurrect the blog because I think there’s still a lot to share.  I feel like I’ve told part of the story chronicling the setup, and now a year on I’m presented with totally different, yet just as difficult challenges as I was confronted with at the start. So watch this space amigos - blood, sweat, toil and large amounts of alcohol are going to be ploughed into this blog, which signifies the personal  sacrifices that I’m prepared to make for your reading pleasure.
